2019 Fee Schedule
Full Day.
Full day mediation fees are $1,600.00 per party.
Full day mediations ordinarily convene
at 9:00 a.m. Mediations that go beyond 5:30 p.m. are invoiced an
additional $187.50 per hour, per party.
Fees include all preparation time,
pre-mediation conferences, lunch for all participants, parking and
expenses.
Arrangements for off-site locations are
gladly accommodated. No additional travel expense for travel to the
counties contiguous to Dallas County, TX.
Half Day
(4 Hours). Half day mediation fees are $575.00/party
(PI) - $750.00 / party (Other) . Half day mediations are ordinarily are from 9:00 a.m.
until 1:00 p.m., or 1:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Additional time is
invoiced at $187.50 per hour, per party.
Two Hour 2-3 party
PI Cases.
Two hour mediation fees are $400.00 per party. These mediations are
ordinarily scheduled from:
8 a.m.- 10 a.m.
10 a.m. – Noon
Noon – 2
p.m. or
2 p.m. - 4
p.m.
Additional time is invoiced at $187
per party per hour.
All
parties represented by one lawyer in the same lawsuit are one “party” for
purposes of the mediation fee.
Note: in complex cases, where a substantial amount of
preparation time is essential, additional fees may be proposed.

"Mel was appointed mediator of a 5 party case. Mel
thought "outside of the box", held a pre-mediation attorney
only meeting to work-out a schedule and start settlement
discussions. Thereafter the parties tried to negotiate a
comprehensive settlement, but ran into several roadblocks.
The parties called on Mel, who found the bridges over the
roadblocks. The case settled, along with a related case in
another court involving a 6th party."
